Your Form Tutor
Every pupil at The John Wallis Church of England Academy belongs to a form group.
At its heart is their form tutor, a familiar face at the start of every day and often the member of staff who comes to know your child best.
That relationship matters.
Form time gives pupils a calm, purposeful start to the day. It is a chance to check in, take part in collective worship, read, reflect and prepare. If something doesn't seem quite right, the form tutor is there to notice.
For families, they are an important first point of contact. Most importantly, a form tutor is an advocate. Someone who knows your child. Someone who notices. Someone who wants them to succeed.
