Welcome to The John Wallis Church of England Academy – Secondary Phase
The secondary years are a remarkable time. Young people begin to discover what interests them, what challenges them and who they want to become. At The John Wallis Church of England Academy, we make those years count.
Our expectations are high because our belief in our pupils is high. Excellent teaching and an ambitious curriculum give pupils the knowledge and skills they need to achieve strong qualifications and keep future choices open. Beyond the classroom, sport, music, performance, leadership, faith, clubs and trips help pupils discover talents they may never have known they possessed. And throughout those years, they are known. Teachers, form tutors and pastoral staff build strong relationships with pupils and families, providing the challenge, encouragement and support young people need as they grow. By the end of Year 11, we want pupils to leave with more than qualifications. We want them to know themselves, believe in what they can achieve and be excited about what comes next.
