Houses

At The John Wallis Church of England Academy, we are proud to have four Houses, each named after significant historic figures who inspire our values and ethos. 

• Edith Cavell
• Marie Curie
• St Augustine
• Thomas Cramner

When pupils join our Primary School, they are placed into one of these Houses, where they will remain throughout their entire Academy journey. Belonging to a House helps pupils develop a strong sense of community, teamwork, and friendly competition.

Throughout the year, pupils earn House Points for positive behaviour, achievements, attendance, and effort, as well as through whole school events such as Sports Day. Each House also leads charity days, working together to raise vital funds for chosen causes. Our House system encourages every child to contribute, achieve, and shine.
